Blooming Lovely

from Electric Flowers by YnotB

/

about

When I was a nipper, my mum's uncle had a farm over in darkest east Sussex. In Maytime you'd go into the bluebell woods.... I've been around a bit and seen a few things, but Sussex woods in May are as good as it gets.

Featuring Hazel Pearl on flute... somewhat reminiscent of Didier Malherbe, with shades of Ian Anderson.
Also my Minisynth features prominently

lyrics

A sea of colours everywhere.
Break the silence if you dare.
Makes you wanna stand and stare.
Sure it ain't no standard fare.

A sight to take your breath away.
Call it celebration day.
A picture money couldn't pay.
Oh, you know you gotta stay.

There's been no hand of mankind here.
No thought to design or to steer.
An untamed beauty without peer.
That comes to pass this time of year.
